I have a lot to talk about today.
First, after almost 2 full years of unemployment, I am starting a new job today. You’ve heard me mention Clear-Vue Glass in Durham, NC in previous posts. Over the past few months, I have been helping Clear-Vue with a website project that is about to end. The great folks at Clear-Vue have graciously offered me a full-time position and I jumped at the opportunity! I’m looking forward to this new adventure.
Secondly, I want you to know that I am fully committed to continuing the Looking At Glass blog. I will ask for your patience over the next week while I adjust to my new schedule. I’ll do everything that I possibly can to make sure the blog posts are done daily and as close to schedule as possible. You should be aware that I will be checking on the blog during my lunch break and after work. This means that I may not be so quick to respond to your comments and emails. I promise to respond as soon as I can.
Finally, I am officially changing the name of the Monday Inspiration Game to the Monday Inspiration Challenge. I think it sounds better, don’t you?
I have revised how we look at the submissions. I was concerned about the amount of space used loading all of the photos to the blog. I know it is hard to believe, but I have almost 1,000 photos uploaded to the media library for this blog! Issuu software seems to be a good fit for what we needed. I still have some work to do with formatting, sizing of photos, etc., but I think it will work great over time.
Click here to see this weeks amazing contributions!
The inspiration glass for the challenge this next week is a piece of glass that was submitted by Gloria Badiner last week. So, without further ado(drum roll, please)…
The Monday Inspiration Challenge photo for next week is:
If you want to know how the challenge works, go to this previous Monday Inspiration post. I hope you will join us. Have fun and send me your photos.

Good luck with your new job!!!! We look forward to following your career in glass
