Old Brass Lantern DIY Project

Today I am looking at a great light redo project by Brittany Bailey, aka Pretty Handy Girl.  From the time I was a young girl I’ve always loved doing little crafty projects.  According to Pretty Handy Girl blog, Brittany has had that love, too.

Not one to shy away from any project, Brittany shares all kinds of information on her blog about home repair, decor, craft, and sewing.  By the time you finish reading the detailed instructions for any one of Brittany’s projects, you are just dying to do it for yourself.

When I read the blog post,  Circle Diamond Pattern Light Fixture – Updating a Brass Light Fixture, I immediately added 2 old light fixtures to my “gotta find” shopping list.  I’m just sayin’ that anyone that can make this transformation…

Is one Pretty Handy Girl!

Pssst…Brittany has a number of Pretty Handy Girl blog posts using repurposed glass.  I have included a link to the project instructions below each photo.

I love a good reuse project, don’t you?  Making beautiful objects from old glass is a creative and worthwhile thing to do.
