The Art of Healing

Today I am looking at art and healing.  This art glass fountain project, Glass Falls, by Wayne Design Group was created for the Baylor Cancer Center Healing Garden in Dallas, Texas and was completed over a year ago.  The Glass Falls is a five foot span of twelve structural cast glass panels  ‘floating’ in between granite walls.  I like the mix of color and transparency of this glass waterfall.

The video by local TV station, NBCDFW, and it’s reference to art and healing is a good message for all healthcare designers.
