Taking Forme

Today I am looking at Forme by AVMazzega.

Alert Looking at Glass reader, Bobetta :-) , sent me a link to these Murano glass Forme lights by AVMazzega.  The Forme light series (table, ceiling, and hanging) was designed by architect, Christophe Pillet.  The hand blown glass with a chrome or white metal base would look great in a modern home or office decor.

The roots of AVMazzega lie the noble Venetian glassworking tradition; the firm was founded in 1946 by Gianni Bruno Mazzega in Murano, a land of furnaces, master and their assistants in the glass process, known as “ serventi” and “serventini”, who still today jealously guard the age-old techniques for working the glass.
