Jenny Pickford

Today I am looking at artist blacksmith, Jenny Pickford.  I’ve been thinking lately about why people always tell me that I have a knack for finding cool stuff.  Do you want to know my secret?  Don’t look at just glass.  If you only look for photos or news stories about glass, you are really limiting yourself.  The subject of todays blog post is a perfect example what you can find when you don’t limit yourself.

I began my day looking at the RHS Chelsea Garden Show.  I don’t have a bucket list, but if I did the RHS Chelsea Garden Show would be on it.  Every year, I swoon over the creativity used to display the beautiful plants.  I always keep an eye out for glass, but also enjoy any sculpture found in the gardens.  This morning I read about metal artist, Jenny Pickford.  There were no photos of Jenny’s work, so I decided to go to her website.  Let’s just say that I may have done one of those spitting coffee out of my mouth, gasping for air moments, when the photos of Jenny’s work started flashing by.
