Today I am looking at mosaics. I like the mosaic mirrors by GlassMagic Studios Etsy Shop. I especially love the herringbone design of this mirror mosaic piece.
And speaking of grout (we were speaking about grout, right?), a few weeks ago I was participating in a Twitter chat and learned about Bostic Dimension reflective grout.
Bostik’s Dimension is a patented, glass-filled, ready-to-use, water-based urethane grout. Dimension contains micro glass beads and a translucent urethane binder that both reflects light and allows light to pass through it and illuminate tiles directly. Dimension is LEED compliant with 80% recycled glass.
I haven’t seen or tried this grout, I’m not endorsing it, but if you have a project that needs grout, this product might be worth investigating! If you have used it leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Didn’t work in our hands for kiln formed glass tiles. Even with masking the glass surface and using a soft float we scratched the surface. The directions do say this may be a problem. Would love to know if someone has a method that works on soft glasses or patinated metals.
Hi Gloria, Thanks for sharing your experience with the grout. Too bad that it didn’t work. Waiting to see if anyone else has tried and had different results.
